The blogger spotlight will today shine on Juliet, aka Mrs Sexy. Juliet is a writer with a few very sexy books to her name and her blog details some of her adventures with the men in her life.
What made you decide to start a sex blog?
I started a sex blog to promote my erotic books. I am a hotwife, a married woman who who is permitted lovers. I wrote three true life books about my sex life and experiences in my transition from monogamy to polyamory and promiscuity. They are under the title “mrs Sexy” a nickname I was given by one of my first lovers outside of my marriage. I continued to receive messages from people wanting to know more about my lifestyle, so I started the blog to satisfy my fan base.
What, if anything, would you like your blog to achieve?
I would like my blog to continue to promote female sexuality. Women are sexual beings and I don’t like that we aren’t supposed to talk about our sexuality. I am proud about being a sexy woman and love to talk about the benefits of a healthy and exciting sex life. I hope other women will gain the confidence to be more open about their bodies, their wants and desires, and their sexual needs.
How much do you protect your anonymity as a sex blogger or are you quite open about writing a sex blog? And if the latter, what kind of reactions have you received?
I am quite open about who I am as a sex blogger and erotic author. I use my own pictures and my own stories. As a 45 year old woman, I want other women in my age group, well women of of all age groups, shapes and sizes to realize that anyone can be sexy. It just takes a little effort and a little self – confidence.
If readers would read only one post from your blog, which one would you recommend (i.e. which is your favourite/most important blog post)?
I don’t really have one post on my blog that I like more than another. I think all of my stories with my lovers are hot. I do a monthly regular post which I think is quite amusing. I take naughty messages I receive on my social media and share them them under “Juliet’s Messages“. I like to credit men who send, what I consider, positive sexual messages, and point out the ridiculously offensive ones from men.
Do you have any advice for other sex bloggers?
The only advice I would have for other sex bloggers would be to keep it it real and keep it respectful. It’s interesting to read varying types of blog posts, but fake or degrading posts can be off putting.
And finally, why have you decided to join Summer 100 Sex Bloggers Challenge and are you really going to write 100 posts?
I love the idea of doing 100 posts over a summer but it will be challenging as my posts are quite detailed, usually detailing encounters with my lovers. It’s nice to be able to see other bloggers posts and make some worthwhile contacts as well.
