The kind people at Satisfyer sent me a box of their newest toys (though not the male masturbator my husband was looking forward to testing). My experience with suction toys has not been great, at least not the Satisfyer ones I have tried so far (I have reviewed the Satisfyer Pro 2 and the Satisfyer Pro Penguin before). But I was willing to give these new toys a try. First up is the Satisfyer Pro Plus Vibration.
I was actually excited about this. I love vibrating toys, so I thought that the combination of vibration and suction would really work well for me. I wasn’t completely wrong, but I can’t say that this Satisfyer toy will be my favourite toy ever either.
But let’s back up a bit. The Satisfyer Pro Plus Vibration is smaller than the Pro 2 and shaped in an L shape. The buttons are on the handle and easy to reach. You need to charge the toy before use and Satisfyer warns you in the manual that the first charge can take up to 8 hours, which was a bummer as I wanted to try it right away. It is charge using a magnetic charging cable, like all the other Satisfyer toys, so at least that is consistent.
Once it was charged I was ready to give it a try. The suction function and the vibration function are controlled via two different buttons, so you can have just suction, just vibration or both, which I found quite handy. The suction function is really quiet, Satisfyer have really come a long way in that department. The vibration….not so much. I found it quite loud and buzzy. There are two lights on the handle which indicate what function is working at the moment, as if you could mistake the vibration for the suction and vice versa. The lights are also quite bright, which is never really great.
The proof of the pudding is in the eating and so, the proof of this toy is in the…hmmm, that went off the rails a bit. Never mind. I still needed hubby’s help in attaching the Satisfyer Pro Plus Vibration to my clit, as I still can’t see my own clit very well without the help of a mirror and I find it hard to properly attach the toy by feeling alone, especially when I am not too aroused yet. I did find the shape of the Satisfyer Pro Plus Vibration a lot handier than the other models. It’s easier for me to keep the toy still as I slowly bring myself to a climax.
The mouth of the Satisfyer Pro Plus Vibration is bigger than any of the other Satisfyer toys I have and that worked very well for me. I normally don’t get much sensation from the Satisfyer suction until I suddenly get an orgasm, but with this one I could feel my orgasm build slowly, and that was without the vibration on. Once I turned the vibration on, I got a bit more sensation, but because the vibrations were quite buzzy I could’t keep it on for long. It’s a nice way to change things up a little, but the vibrations alone wouldn’t push me over the edge.
I do find that the Satisfyer toys take some getting used to, especially in the handling. I am one of those people who presses her vibrator against her clit as hard as possible, but doing that with the Satisfyer Pro Plus Vibration reduces the effectiveness. I need to be really gentle with the suction mouth, barely have it touch my clit, to get the most sensation. If I do that, I can get to an orgasm, but I would still not say that the Satisfyer Pro Plus Vibration gives me the greatest orgasms ever.
Overall the Satisfyer Pro Plus Vibration is an improvement on the Satisfyer toys so far. I could see myself using this again and the addition of the vibration really helps spice up the monotomy of the sensations of the suction (which still can get people to great orgasms). I think I just prefer broader stimulation onmy vulva, rather than my clit only.
