How/Where do I join the Facebook Group?

You can link to the Facebook group that Victoria set up. You do need to be on Facebook in order to use the group.

How do I post my link in the Guestbook?

Victoria has set up a Guestbook on her website where you can drop your links. You can also check out other participants’ blog posts here.

How long is each round?

This year’s challenged with progress in “Rounds” where each round will be equivalent to approximately two weeks. As long as you average 5.5 posts per round, you’ll move on to the next round.

Round 1- June 1st through June 15th
Round 2- June 16th through June 30th
Round 3- July 1st through July 15th
Round 4- July 16th through July 31st
Round 5- August 1st through August 15th
Round 6- August 16th through August 31st

Those who do not progress to the next round or just didn’t participate may still contribute to the challenge at your own pace, participants won’t be required to deep link your posts, your link will be removed from the list of participants, and you won’t be eligible for prizes at the end.

However, feel free to continue to post to the Summer 100 Guestbook as long as your post meets guidelines.

As long as you are participating with some consistency, I’m sure other participants will continue to link to your posts. Remember it’s all about community and growth! Be creative and have fun.

How do I link to other blogger’s content?

You can link to other content by highlighting the words or title that you will link and selecting the chain icon (depending on the Content Management System you are using- I use WordPress) or you can do it manually using an a link “ Linked Title goes here ”.

For best SEO benefits, use deep links (i.e. links to a specific blog post rather than links to the blog’s main page). It is important that you use follow links for these blog posts, otherwise no one gains any SEO benefits from you linking to the blog posts.

How many blog posts do I need for each round?

In order to keep this challenge challenging (and not impossible by demanding you actually post 100 blog posts), as long as you post an average of 5.5 posts per round, you qualify for the next round. as each round is slightly longer than 2 weeks (15-16 days each), this should not be too difficult
.
For example, if you post 4 blog posts in week 1 of the round and 8 blog posts in round 2, your average is 6 blog posts, so you qualify for the next round.
