Sex toy review: Ovo E3 G Spot Vibrator

This is a rewritten review of the Ovo E3 G Spot Vibrator due to the original post being lost in the great website disaster.

Ovo Lifestyle Toys kindly sent me a few toys of theirs to test and review. They picked the products for me, but the Ovo E3 G Spot Vibrator could not have been a better pick.

 

First off, I was very impressed with the package that the vibrator came in. I don’t usually care that much about packaging, but this package looks very sleek and, well, expensive. There is an outer sleeve which has a picture of the Ovo E3 G Spot Vibrator and then a box inside that which is light grey with only the words Ovo Lifestyle Toys on it. It looks very discreet, so if you were worried about how to store your vibrator, you could keep it in this box and then stick it on a shelf even.

The lid of the grey box opens up to reveal the vibrator underneath a (again discreet) sheet of tissue. It all has a very luxurious feel to it. Underneath the lid is some information about the company.

The Ovo E3 G Spot Vibrator itself is a thing of beauty. Ovo’s toys are all made of non-toxic, body safe material, which is a big plus in my books. The insertable part of the vibrator is made of soft, pink silicone which feels amazing. The colour is great too (it comes in baby blue as well if you’d rather have that colour). The handle is made of hard, white plastic. The vibrator is not particularly big. I am not a big fan of huge insertable toys and I loved this one. I would say that it would even be good for a beginner. The insertable length is about 6 inches.

The Ovo E3 G Spot Vibrator is a USB rechargeable toy. Because it is also fully waterproof, it is slightly hard to get the pin to go into the port. You have to really push hard to get it through the silicone, but once it’s in, it charges fine. The charging cable is labeled so you know what vibrator it belongs to, which is very handy as I have several similar-looking charging cables, all with different length pins. While the vibrator is charging, the light in the middle of the controls flashes. When it is finished, the light will remain static and the vibrator can be used. In my experience, the charge lasts quite a long time, at least an hour and a half.

The Ovo E3 G Spot Vibrator is very easy to use. It has 3 speeds and 5 patterns and you can navigate through the speeds and patters quite easily with the up and down and left and right buttons on the controls. To turn it on, you press the middle button until the light comes on. You then have to press the up button to start the vibrations and then you can scroll up or down as you wish. The controls are very easy to use – almost too easy. I have accidentally changed the pattern on the vibrator more than once during use, which can be very disruptive when you just got going on a comfortable speed or pattern. As the controls are right where you grip the vibrator to thrust, this is not a great feature. The controls also don’t work great in the bath under water. As soon as the water hits the controls, it seems to get stuck in one setting and it’s hard to change it then.

I did find the Ovo E3 G Spot Vibrator enjoyable and it is one of my go-to G Spot Vibrators. As long as you are careful with the controls, the vibrator works great. The flat head is fantastic for G Spot stimulation and can also be used externally as a clitoral stimulater. This is also one of the few vibrators where I actually really like the patterns. Maybe it’s because the vibrations are quite rumbly and don’t lose that rumble with the patterns. Whatever the cause, it works really well.

The Ovo E3 G Spot Vibrator is very easy to clean due to the fact that it’s completely waterproof. I tend to clean it with a toy wipe before use and with warm water and soap after use. You need to pay a bit of extra attention to the area around the controls as there are some smaller grooves that can collect bacteria, but overall it’s quite easy. And then you can store it either in its box or wrapped up in a toy bag. Because the vibrator is silicone, you have to make sure that it does not touch any other silicone sex toys otherwise the silicone will disintegrate.

My overall verdict? I loved this vibrator the first time I wrote this review. Due to website problems I lost that review, but that has given me a chance to see whether I still really like it a few months later. I can wholeheartedly say that I do. If you like deep, rumbly vibrations and G spot stimulation, this is a great toy for you.
