Eroticon is less than a month away (and thanks to February being a very short month that means less than 4 weeks away!) and I am really looking forward to it. I am meeting my online friend Victoria on Friday before we head to the Meet and Greet and then the conference on Saturday. I already met Luv Bunny at the So Divine 1st anniversary party, so there will be a few familiar faces for me.
The Eroticon organisers encourage everyone to post a virtual meet and greet post on their websites so that all attendees can learn a bit about each other before the event. You can find links to all the entries on the Eroticon blog.
NAME and Twitter handle:
I am Isabelle Lauren, and my Twitter handle is RomanticIsa.
What are you most looking forward to about Eroticon 2018?
I am looking forward to meeting fellow sex bloggers, particularly the ones I have connected with on Twitter. I don’t really have anyone in my real life who I can talk to about my sex blogging, with the exception of a few people, so I am looking forward to trading tips, stories and just hanging out and having a good time. The talks look very interesting too, so I am looking forward to learning more about blogging, as I am fairly new to the whole thing.
We are creating a play list of songs for the Friday Night Meet and Greet. Nominate one song that you would like us to add to the play list and tell us why you picked that song
When I See You Again by Wiz Khalifa.
I love this song as it speaks of strong friendship and it reminds me that distance doesn’t diminish friendship.
What’s the first career you dreamed of having as a kid?
I always wanted to be a writer. I have always been a keen reader and I remember my dad buying us a computer in the 80s. My sisters and I would spent Sunday afternoons writing stories and books and I really wanted to be a writer when I grew up. I even went on to study English in university and then reality set in for me and I took a job that would actually pay my bills. I have only recently come back to writing seriously again. I may not make a career out of it in the sense that I can support my family with it, but I will not give up writing.
Weirdest place you’ve ever gotten up to mischief (define ‘mischief’ however you like…)
I have done it in a car, which at the time was the weirdest place for me, but I now realise that is quite a common place to have sex. I have also done it just off the Bruce’s Trail in Canada on a rock overlooking a cliff. That was quite something.
Tell us two truths and a lie about yourself
I have lived in three countries.
I don’t own a car.
I can’t drink vodka.
Complete the sentence: I want..
…to publish a book.
