Sex toy review: Sh! Bliss G-Vibe

Sh! Bliss G-Vibe in box
When I planned to do a giveaway for my 1st year blogiversary, I contacted Sh! to see if they would be willing to provide me with a toy. They were happy to give me the Sh! Bliss G-Vibe, and not only that, they also gave me one to try for myself. Yay! After having been sick for a bit, I finally had a chance to try it out.

The Sh! Bliss G-Vibe is a small, curved G spot stimulator. It is 5.75 inches long, of which you can insert 4.7 inches. The diameter is only 1.5 inches. It takes one AA battery. The shaft is made of body safe silicone and the Bliss G-Vibe is fully waterproof. It has seven settings, pretty much the same as all vibrators these days: 3 speeds and 4 patterns.

The first thing I did after I cleaned the Sh! Bliss G-Vibe and put a battery in was to try it out on my clit. I don’t know why I always do that with any vibrator, whether they are internal or external, as if my clit is somehow the judge of everything. (It should be, to be honest.) I wasn’t expecting much from a vibrator with battery, and my clit agreed with me: I could hardly feel the buzzy vibrations. But the Sh! Bliss G-Vibe is really meant for G spot stimulation, so I am not going to complain that my clit didn’t like it.

What the Sh! Bliss G-Vibe has going for it (for me at least) is it’s size. Now I can see you thinking. It’s really not a big vibrator AT ALL, but I LOVE smaller vibrators, so this one is perfect for me, size wise.

It was easy to insert the Sh! Bliss G-Vibe and once I turned it on my G spot was very happy. Because it is conveniently curved to hit my G spot I didn’t have to angle it to get it in place like I have to do with my other vibrators so that is really great. I did really like the vibrations against my G spot even though they were too buzzy for my clit. I am not usually fond of really hard G spot stimulation, so this was perfect.

Once I introduced a clitoral vibrator in the mix (my trusty So Divine Flower vibrator) I was in heaven and it didn’t take me long at all to come hard.

The after-sex clean up was nice and easy. I just spritzed the vibrator with my favourite toy cleaner and that was it. Unfortunately the silicone does attract dust, lint and hair, so I can see me having to clean it before use as well, but since it’s waterproof, that’s not too much of an issue.

The button to turn the vibrator on is at the bottom of the handle and it’s easy enough to operate, although you do have to scroll through the whole program to get to where you want to be. I also find it hard to turn it off; technically you have to press and hold, but it seems you have to hold it quite long before it finally shuts down.

For me this toy is perfect. I can see myself using it a lot. Keep in mind though that I like my vibrators on the slim side and I don’t like too much stimulation on my G spot. The price is also reasonable, for £30.00 you can’t really go wrong.

You can get the Sh! Bliss G-Vibe at Sh! Womenstore.
