Sex toy review: Satisfyer Partner Multifun 2

Every so often, Satisfyer contacts me to ask if I want to review their new products. Since falling in love with their suction toys I tend to say “yes”. Satisfyer tends to be very generous and I usually receive more than one sample of each toy so I can share with friends (and family).

So when Satisfyer contacted me recently, I didn’t hesitate. I (foolishly) didn’t even ask what their new toys were. Surely they would be amazing, I thought. When the package arrived, it contained two couple’s toys: the Satisfyer Partner Multifun and the Satisfyer Partner Multifun 2. Given my experience with Satisfyer’s other couple’s toy, the Satisfyer 4 Couples, I was not too enthusiastic about the Multifun toys, but I didn’t want to be prejudiced. After all, I didn’t like the Satisfyer Penguin, thinking I’d hate all their suction toys, and then the Satisfyer Pro Plus Vibrator came alone and I was completely sold. To this day it remains one of my more-used sex toys.

So, with that in mind I decided to stay open-minded and try the Multifun toys. I mean, obviously I would try them, that’s my job as sex blogger when I accept sex toys for reviews, but I decided to try and enjoy them. I started with the Satisfyer Partner Multifun 2, because I like pink, so I picked pink first. Let’s get some of the specifics out of the way first, then I will tell you all about my experience with it.

The Satisfyer Partner Multifun 2 is, as the name indicates, a couple’s toy. Which you can obviously use alone as well, as sex toys are for everyone. I did use it alone and also with hubby. It’s shaped like a horse shoe and has three vibration points: one in the broad part of the horse shoe and one in each of the tips. You can control each engine separately which is quite handy, and each has 10 settings. It is completely waterproof and is rechargeable.

Satisfyer has printed some helpful diagrams on the back of the box to show the multiple ways you can use the Satisfyer Partner Multifun 2 vibrator. Let’s take a look, shall we?

At the top it says “More than 14 ways to enjoy”, which yes, that may be the case, but they then show only 13 different positions. Which seems rather odd to me, but fine. But then some of the pictures are not really that different from each other. And do I really need pictures to show me how to use sex toys? To be fair, a complete novice may need these. Or at least, a few suggestions may be helpful. But it would have been sufficient to show a few different ways (one for the penis, one for the clitoris and one to use as a couple with penetration).

I forgot one detail and that is that the flat part of the horse shoe is slightly textured for added stimulation when using it as a couple’s toy during penetration.

I tested the Satisfyer Partner Multifun 2 in a number of ways, including with my husband. And I am sad to say I didn’t care for it. Hubby liked the way it fitted around his cock, but neither of us particularly cared about the vibrations. As with all of Satisfyer’s toys which have vibrations, the vibrations are extremely buzzy. I like my vibrations to be more on the rumbly side; I find my clit just numbs from buzzy vibrations. Not really what you want if you want to have an orgasm.

I really wish the vibrations had been better. This is not a bad design, at all. I liked the way we could use it as a couple’s toy as most couple’s toys don’t work well with me. I tried a number of the “ways in which to enjoy” my Multifun, but some of the pictures on the back perplexed me. For example, the G spot one. No matter how hard I tried, I could not insert this toy, which is not all that surprising when you look at the shape of it. The arms are really not that bendable, so yes, you can squeeze the tips together a little, but the arms themselves won’t really bend. And you’d need to bend them in order to inset it, at least I do.

Now, just because this toy didn’t work for me, doesn’t mean it’s a bad toy. One of my friends loves buzzy vibrations, so this toy would be perfect for her. But I wasn’t able to get an orgasm on any of the times I tried this toy. I was always left unsatisfied, which is really the opposite of what a sex toy should do.

If you think this sex toy is for you, you can buy it at Satisfyer’s website for £44.95 or at Betty’s Toy Box for $49.99.
