Dance like no one is watching.

I love that saying. I try to live by it as well. I love dancing and I do far too little of it. I don’t really go out dancing that often anymore – really only at the office Chrismas party – but when I do, you can’t get me off the dance floor. And I don’t care who watches. It has always been a dream of mne to learn how to pole dance, but I am too old and weak to learn that now. Alas, a missed opportunity. (more…)

Reflection time – editing

I am almost finished with my first full edit of my novel and it feels so good! This is the fifth novel I have written during NaNoWriMo and the first I have edited in earnest. The previous novels have sadly all fallen by the wayside for one reason or other. But I have finally prevailed and I am so thrilled to be sending out my second draft to my alpha readers soon.

So, I wanted to dwell on some lessons I have learnt during editing. Although ‘lessons’ sounds so deep, it’s more a few observations. (more…)
