This Flash Fiction piece has been inspired by a conversation I had with a man only known as The Pleaser. (more…)
HIDE AND SEEK
Oh God, please don’t let them find the body. It had seemed such a good idea at the time. Not the killing, of course. Killing is always a bad idea. Not that I had meant to kill him. He was bothering me and I only wanted to push him away. It wasn’t my fault that he stumbled, fell and hit his head on the curb. He shouldn’t have been drunk. Actually, he shouldn’t have attacked me. I don’t really care if someone wants to get drunk. It’s a free country: you can do to your liver whatever the hell you want to. But leave me out of it. Don’t come at me as if I owe you anything just because I am a woman. I tend to get very angry then. (more…)
This week it’s a bit of a longer one. Longer than my usual flash fiction, but I can’t get it down to less words and it’s still not horrendously long. Next week I will write some M/F action. Or if you have any requests, leave it in the comments! (more…)
Another flash fiction for you, this one a little shorter than usual.
It wasn’t as if it was a big deal. The council had decided and I had no choice but to accept the decision. I was to be Lukshar’s companion for the night. It happened to all the women at one point in their lives, I just had not expected it to happen to me so early on. After all, I was only twenty and had not known a man yet. Most women had been married for a few years and knew exactly what was expected from them. Not me. I was completely in the dark.
There is nothing more beautiful than a woman in the throes of passion. Or at least, that is what they say. I certainly hoped that was true, because I was unable to keep myself from thrashing around as Rafe and Alice both pleasured me.
Another short story for you, hope you like it. If you want to join me in posting short stories on Friday under the Flash Fiction Friday banner, let me know and I will post links to your blog underneath my stories (and I expect you to do the same for everyone who joins). (more…)
The writing prompt comes from the first line of page 107 of October’s Grand Designs. “I remember how Layla’s eyes lit up when I brought in the birthday cake.” Writing prompt suggestion courtesy of Kit de Waal.
