If you follow me on Twitter, you will be aware that I am moving house. (I promise I will stop moaning about it soon.) As part of the house move, I flipped through some old pictures from my student years and damn! I was so young and skinny. My immediate reaction was, ‘I wish I still had that body’. Because, you know, skinny is beautiful. Skinny is good. And beauty is most important. (more…)
This Flash Fiction piece has been inspired by a conversation I had with a man only known as The Pleaser. (more…)
If you’ve been with my blog from the beginning, you may have noticed that I had a weekly book review up (on Monday). However, I found that very hard to keep up. (more…)
My favourite book of all time is Gone With the Wind. I realise that it has its issues, not the least of which its problematic portrayal of slavery. However, it also gave me my favourite heroine. The blog has a new look! I hope you all like it. I needed a cleaner look and am quite happy with this one. For now at least.
